West Ashtead Primary School is an all through primary school with 330 pupils.

It has been serving the Ashtead Community for over 50 years. We are lucky to have substantial grounds which include a large playing field with two football pitches, a multi-use games area lined with netball and tennis courts, and three large playgrounds.

West Ashtead Primary School

Today we had a visit from a very special guest who came to tell us all about the importance of bees. We learnt about how they pollinate plants and the different jobs the different types of bees in the hive do. We learnt the different body parts of the bee and sang a song to help us remember. We found out how bees make honey and even got a chance to taste some raw honey from Jayne's bee hives. We then went outside and made some seed bombs to throw into our garden bed because we want the wild flowers to grow as these are important for the bees. @growcookenjoy Grow Cook Enjoy
