Following research and due diligence by our Governing Body West Ashtead Primary School has applied to the Department for Education to become an academy and join the LEO Academy Trust. 

 

As part of this process we are consulting with our staff, pupils, parents, local schools and other stakeholders to gather views on the proposed conversion and inform the final decision. 

 

There are a number of documents on this page which are designed to give you more information on why we have chosen to approach the LEO Academy Trust and how this will impact pupils at West Ashtead. 

 

Our consultation is taking place between 21st November 2022 and 16th December 2022. 

There are a number of ways you can give your feedback during the consultation: 

 

• Meeting with the CEO of LEO, Philip Hedger, 5th December 7pm in the school hall.

• Provide feedback through our online consultation form
